Smart oven keeps resetting

My GE smart oven randomly resets my cooking presets and forgets my saved recipes. It’s super annoying when I’m mid-meal prep. Is this a memory issue or a bug in the app?

Sounds more like a software glitch than a memory issue but try doing a full reset on both the oven and the app, then update any firmware. If that doesn’t fix it, GE support may need to re push the software to your unit

Try checking for software updates on both the oven and the app. If it’s already up to date, try a factory reset then

it looks like if the oven loses power entirely (even for a split second), it wipes the running memory
If you notice this happening after any slight power glitch, you might be stuck waiting for a firmware update from GE to fix how the memory is backed up. For saved recipes, though, they should be stored on the main control board's ROM, which is much more persistent. If the saved recipes are also vanishing, that points to a deeper issue
