Water dispenser went silent

Hey everyone,
There's a puzzling situation with my fridge’s water dispenser. Normally, when I press the paddle, I hear the hum and then the water flows but today, it was just silent and didn't gurgle. I’ve checked the basics already because the fridge is running fine and the door switch clicks like it should. But the water dispenser itself? not a single drop. I’m trying to figure out if this is a simple fix like a frozen line or a filter issue or if I’m about to make friends with a repair bill.
Appreciate any thoughts or wild theories. At this point, I’d settle for a single drip of hope

the silent no hum-no water issue when the paddle is pressed usually comes down to either the dispenser paddle switch itself or the water inlet valve on the back of the fridge.
you don't hear the valve humming, it usually means that it's not getting power. You'll need to pull the fridge out and pop off the back panel. Check the wiring harness to the valve, make sure it’s seated well.
If that looks fine, the valve itself (specifically the solenoid coil) is likely dead and needs replacement

Could be a frozen line in the door, given everything else works fine. Try leaving the door open for a bit or using a hair dryer gently along the dispenser area. If that doesn’t do it, check the filter or the inlet valve next like @Rob jr_ also suggested
