I’ve got a GE stove that’s decided to develop a weird and slightly alarming problem, there's an oily substance slowly making its way down the back rail and seeping out from the side of the control panel, dripping onto the stovetop, it’s definitely not coming from any recent spills. but it appears to be coming from inside the control area right where the circuit board sits. I can’t tell if something inside is actually melting or leaking, but it’s giving electronic goo vibes more than anything food related. Haven’t dared to do the taste test (for obvious reasons) or am I just tripping ?
What is the way forward now?
