My Whirlpool front loader has been making a grinding noise during the spin cycle for about two weeks now. I pulled the drum and found the rear bearing is shot and its something you can feel. Thing is I've replaced bearings before on top loaders but I've never tackled a front loader. Is this something I can DIY or am I better off calling someone? I've heard these kind of things may require special tools to press the bearing in but is that actually true, because I would like to do it myself if its something I can do without too much hassle and side effects
