Fan running nonstop after fixing components

Just wrapped up what I thought was a successful repair on my microwave. I changed out the capacitor, transformer, diode, and fuse because it wasn't heating so now it heats perfectly fine, but I've created a new problem it seems. The exhaust fan is running continuously from the moment I plug it in not when I hit the fan button, literally as soon as power hits the unit. If I unplug it, the fan stops but when I plug it back in, it immediately starts up again.
My best guess is I reconnected something wrong or bumped a wire that's now completing the fan circuit constantly, any help on this would be appreciated please
Thanks

this can be a miswired connection. before you do anything else, unplug the microwave from the wall socket. high voltage capacitors in microwaves can retain a lethal electrical charge even when the unit is unplugged. safety first, man

Did you happen to move the control board or any connectors near the fan?
