kitchenaid side by side refrigerator around 10 years old. model KSCS23INSS00
freezer is good ,fresh food compartment is hot
anybody can help and tell how to make forced defrost
anybody has the service manual,or wiring shematic

To force a defrost, try pressing and holding the fresh food Light Switch and the Temp Down button or Freezer button on the dispenser panel for 5-10 seconds until the display changes. Press the Temp Down button again to enter defrost mode. Listen for the compressor to shut off. Check sites like PartSelect for the service manual just to be sure! But you'd also might want to consider unplugging the fridge and leaving both doors open for 24-48 hours to fully melt the ice. If the problem returns, you might need a new defrost thermostat or heater.
