Repair or replace: Thermador CIT365YB left side not working

Our Thermador CIT365YB induction cooktop suddenly stopped working on the left side. So the two left burners won't turn on at all, but the right side seems to work perfectly fine.

I've done a little bit of troubleshooting and the issue seems to be with the electronics. What I found online mostly suggest a failure of the main control board or one of the inverter boards. Given that these are specific, proprietary parts and the unit is no longer a current model, I'm concerned about the cost and availability of parts.

I'm trying to figure out if it's even worth attempting a repair. I know a new cooktop will be expensive, but I'm worried about spendings some money on a part for this one only for it to fail again or for a different issue to pop up. Bro, before you make a final decision, have you tried looking for the part number yourself?
Sometimes you can find them on eBay or other appliance parts websites.
You can often get them for much cheaper than through a dealer. I've had good luck with a company called Appliance Parts Pros.
Once you have the part, you can have a local handyman or appliance tech put it in for a much lower labor cost.
It might save you a ton of money and keep your Thermador for a few more years

@ch!l@q!l3 comment is a pro tip. it's wise not to write off that Thermador until you've done the eBay deep dive. Appliance part treasure hunts are a real thing, and sometimes you get lucky with a salvaged board
