fixing a Whirlpool refrigerator

My dad is trying to be a hero for my aunt by fixing her fridge. She's got a Whirlpool (model WRB322DMBM01), and the LED light in the bottom freezer went out.

He's got the replacement part, but he's stuck on how to get the old unit out. He can't seem to find any screws, and he doesn't want to just pry at it and snap something off.
Has anyone done this before? Any tips on how to get it out without breaking the plastic would be a huge help!
Should he be using a specific tool, like a trim removal tool, instead of a screwdriver, to avoid scratching the plastic?

Plastic trim tool is perfect and once the cover is off, the module should unplug pretty easily. Tell him to unplug the fridge first, of course, and maybe warm the plastic up a bit

I swapped the LED in my WRB322DMBM01 last year. The light cover pops off with gentle pressure from a plastic trim tool or a butter knife wrapped in tape. Did he already unplug the fridge and check for a small release tab near the edge of the housing? Some units have one that’s easy to miss.

Yeah, that light module just snaps in, no screws. Use a thin plastic trim tool or a putty knife wrapped in tape to gently pry along the edge, if you start at one corner and work your way around slowly, it’ll pop out without cracking the housing and remember to unplug the fridge first, of course
