Help before Thanksgiving!

Hey everyone, really hoping someone can help me out here. My GE fridge model GSH22SGRESS has been acting weird the past few days. The freezer is working fine and as ice cold as it should be but the fridge section is barely cooling. Thanksgiving is next month and really can't afford a new fridge right now. I've already cleaned the coils in the back and made sure nothing is blocking the vents inside. I'm stumped because the fan seems to be running and the temperature is set correctly
Is this a thermostat issue or something? would really appreciate any advice before I call in a pro and they tell me about $200 service charge just for them to look at it

this is actually a pretty common issue with GE fridges, and the good news is it might not be as expensive as you think, it's likely an issue with the air damper or the evaporator fan in the freezer section and I can say this since your freezer is working fine but the fridge isn't cooling, The damper controls how much cold air flows from the freezer to the fridge, and if it's stuck closed or the motor is bad, your fridge won't get cold air even though the freezer is fine
Check if you can feel any cold air coming through the vent at the top or back wall of your fridge section, if not, the damper might be stuck, damper assembly should be around $50 or 80 or so. Hope this helps you out

If the freezer is cold but the fridge isn’t, it’s usually the air damper or evaporator fan that’s the culprit. Before calling a pro, though, you might wanna check if you feel cold air coming through the vents in the fridge.
