Whirlpool thermistor location

I have a Whirlpool fridge, model WRF555SDFZ12, that's between 1 and 3 years old, can anyone tell me where the thermistor for the fresh food compartment is located? I'm trying to sort out a cooling issue and need to find it to check or replace, any help would be appreciated

Its usually located inside the fresh food compartment, often near the evaporator coil or behind the rear panel inside the fridge. You may need to remove the back panel to access it. Checking the manual or service guide can help, but if you can't find it, looking near the cooling vents inside the fridge is a good place to start

Thanks, that points me in the right direction, I'll pull the back panel and check near the vents and coil. Hopefully the thermistor's easy to get to once I'm in there

Sure thing, wear gloves if you can by the way, you're handling electrical stuff there
